Pai is one brave girl that didnt gave up proving her grandpa wrong about disapointing him. Pai tried her best not giving up her abilty to sing and to teach herself the art of chiefdom. Pai was not valued in her community or family because her grandpa Pucker tried to tell her that chiefdom was only boys and most of the work were all about boys. Pai wanted to prove him wrong and pratice chiefdom. When Pucker told the boys to bring back the whale tooth they told him that it slipped out of there hands. The grandpa was very upset and Pai tried to get it back. Grandpa called the whales to know which was the chosen one and Pai helped him out. when Pai called the whales. The whales ended up getting stuck in the sand. Everyone tried to pull the whales back to the ocean. Pai got on top of the whale and Pucker realized it was her all along.
